I’ve taken over 90,000 shots with my camera but never used the, “Artistic” setting on it so all of these photos taken today were experimental.
Very simple with a “point and shoot” camera like mine, a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ80. The images are straight out of the camera, unprocessed apart from resizing.

My intention today was to take a photo of a tadpole, a temporary state, but as I watched the pool I saw this meniscus created by a Hoverfly drinking and decided that was perfect for the prompt instead.

Although it might seem from my posts that a Koala is always here that’s not so. I have no idea how extensive their range is, I’m sure that depends on the density of the Eucalypts they eat but they usually reappear here every few weeks.
