This yacht has sat on a shelf for years, it was put together when Australia II won the Americas Cup in 1983 and I remember our daughter having to wade out into a muddy “lake” to retrieve it.
I know this one is definitely dodgy but it was the only thing I could find, the box with the Christmas Tree under the Pool Table.
This machine was a birthday present for my daughter. The lady we bought it from was so funny, I think she would have liked to slap our hands as we touched it but she can rest easy, we’ve looked after it. The bobbin is shaped like a little rocket. Although it’s my daughter’s I’m the “custodian”.
This one is not quite what it seems, it’s modern enough, or old enough, to have a tape deck in one side just depends on your perception.
I’m not the quilter, a friend whipped this up so quickly when my first grandchild was born and when my grand-daughter was old enough we enjoyed many moments searching for different animals. The quilt could probably be the source of an A-Z Challenge all on its own.
