The compost bin seemed a good place to check out today.
Unfortunately I wasn’t quick/clever enough to snap heaps of tiny bugs.
Scuttling around in leaves was a cockroach.
Inside an egg shell was an Earwig
Not in the compost bin but worth a photo.
Bingo! Sitting on the lip of the compost bin.
A worm on the lid.
I decided today I’d look only at flower stamens and stigma, there is certainly a wide range of shapes and sizes.
Correa – lemon
Eremophila – red
Eremophila – salmon

After recent rain I noticed what looked like tiny Iron filings floating in one of the dog’s water dishes but I suspected it was actually a raft of Springtails. I took some photos with my little Panasonic Lumix TZ70.
