We had some lovely sunny days and the lizards became active, I’m sure the Kookaburras were pleased.

It’s been cold for weeks and I haven’t seen many animals around. This morning I had a lovely surprise when a flock of Yellow-Tailed Black Cockatoos decided to stop for a while in some trees on our place.
Yesterday Pardalotes were flitting high in the trees so a struggle to get a decent photo.

Along with the Lavender, Grevilleas, Correas etc there are some different flowers blooming now. In different climates some are probably considered Spring flowers but we’re not quite through our first month of Winter yet.

The compost bin seemed a good place to check out today.
Unfortunately I wasn’t quick/clever enough to snap heaps of tiny bugs.
It’s raining today, not heavily but consistently, hence the watery photos.
I was curious about the lack of droplets hanging from the Lavender flowers maybe it’s because of their oil.
