Creepy, crawly, slimy and scary

It’s winter here in South Australia and cold so there aren’t many insects about, few insects means few of their predators. There are some lizards I know I can find because I’ve discovered their refuges. When the sun warms the ground there are hundreds of little Skinks around here but I don’t know where they go when it’s cold.

I believe everything on this earth has a right to be here but some things and some people would be happiest if their space was far away from mine. (Flies and biting bugs take note!) I don’t like housework and think dust is Nature’s way of saying, “This is my space, I was here first.”

      It was the amazing racket that sent me to investigate when I saw the tug-o-war. There were actually four Kookas but one wasn’t involved in the unseemly tussle.
