This week’s Photo Challenge asks us to, “depict something or someone you admire. Bonus points if you share a paragraph or two on the source of your admiration.”

Every day I stand out the front of our house and simply admire the work of Nature, the tiny bugs, fascinating flowers, big trees or interesting clouds. Not much is perfect, trees have fallen, branches are smashed, leaves and flowers have been eaten by bugs even the earth has been disturbed and left exposed in places but Nature never stops regrowing, replacing and renewing. The holes in the leaves and plants are a sign of new life in another form. Wherever I go from deserts to mountains, rainforests or beaches Nature always has my admiration.

I’m a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, auntie and friend. I prefer to be outside and am interested in photography, nature and different cultures. I believe everything on this earth has a right to be here but some things and some people would be happiest if their space was far away from mine. (Flies and biting bugs take note!) I don’t like housework and think dust is Nature’s way of saying, “This is my space, I was here first.”
