Kookaburra Dinner

Yesterday I heard a different bird call and went outside to investigate. I couldn’t see the little bird but my eye suddenly caught this Kookaburra, I thought from the shape of the lizard’s head it was a Gecko, one of my favourites. Later when I looked at the image on the monitor I realized it was a young Blue Tongue. I was disappointed it was now an ex-Blue Tongue but was happy to know young ones were obviously about.

I’m a sister, wife, mother, grandmother, auntie and friend. I prefer to be outside and am interested in photography, nature and different cultures. I believe everything on this earth has a right to be here but some things and some people would be happiest if their space was far away from mine. (Flies and biting bugs take note!) I don’t like housework and think dust is Nature’s way of saying, “This is my space, I was here first.”

So, what do you think?
